Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, Grant Bond demonstrated unique artistic ability in his early years, painting in a realistic manner through his childhood. Bond’s expansive artistic repertoire includes work for print, television, and film, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media.
Bond’s animation-style of art can be found in DC’s TRICK ‘R TREAT as well as THE ADVENTURES OF ARCHIBALD AARDVARK: BULLETS, BOOZE & BEEZLEBUB, His creator-owned title published through Image/Shadowline. He also illustrated a story in Gene Simmon’s HOUSE OF HORRORS anthology for IDW and provided artwork for THE SILLY STATUE story for the FRACTURED FABLES anthology. Titles he’s illustrated such as The ASTONISHING CLOCKWORK GIRL, IGOR, and MEGAMIND are all essential prequels to already-released and upcoming hit animated movies.
